make:Spring

I have been posting all over facebook about this.  Tweeting too.  And I posted the graphic here on Tuesday, but I haven't really said a whole lot about it here on the blog.  Do you remember back in December when make:Tulsa teamed up with Ida Red for a make:Christmas?  If you were there then you know what a fantastic and fun time everyone had.

This dynamic combo of people is at it again, just in tome for mother's day and big spring plans.  Do you need a last minute, unique and thoughtful mother's day gift?  We totally have you covered.  Do you need that awesome little accessory to complete your party/wedding/vacation outfit?  We have that too.  Baby shower gifts?  Yep.  And Ida Red has all the old fashioned candies and unique sodas you could want, not to mention TOMS.  So really, if you are in the Tulsa area, you need to come by and see us.
Like the graphic says, we will be there from 1pm to 6pm. All of the handmade artists listed above will be set up at the back of the shop, eager to help you find what you are looking for. Come and say hello and introduce yourself to us. We absolutely love to meet new people.

I hope to see you there!

GIVEAWAY!!!

As many of you know, I love working with hand dyed yarn.  I especially love Farm Girl Fiber yarn!  Bridgette has an eye for color and has a lot of fun with what she does.  That is why I am so super thrilled that Farm Girl Fiber is sponsoring this giveaway in honor of my opening an etsy shop!   Before the goods, a recap:  I made this Acorn Head hooded cowl for myself on Christmas this year.  I've known pretty much since I bought the yarn exactly what it was going to be, I just had to find time to do it.  This cowl was out of my FGF birthday yarn!  You can't tell in the picture, but it has just this hind of sparkle to it.  Love! I made 2 of these for two different swaps and I really wish I had made and kept one for myself while she still had the yarn!  It was so super soft and super bulky and fantastic!  Sometimes Farm Girl Fiber has very limited lots of things, so if you find something you love, you really need to snatch it up. ...

Which Would You Pick??
