Tunic and Gaiter Pics

Here is the Tunic, finally.  Its not exactly what I wanted/pictures.  The neck is too wide to wear it by itself, so it will have to be layered over something, but it is kind of flowy.  I was really just looking for something hippie-style to lounge in, so we'll see.  There are still a few ends hidden on the inside that I haven't tucked in yet.  By the time I get around to that it will probably be cold here.  Oh well.
Below are gaiters number 1, 2 & 3.  I still have a fourth one to make.  Its going to be all green, I think.  The cashmerino is sooooo nice too work with and hopefully the guys will think its nice to wear.  :-)
And this is poor Riley dressed up in his Halloween shirt.  He's not sure how he feels about wearing clothes.  Its getting colder in the morning though and he doesn't seem to like to be cold much, so maybe he'll take to the clothes more as the temperature drops.  I hope so, because I'd like to knit him a little sweater.  :-)
Not a whole lot else going on.  Working on trying to finish a number of things and thinking about what there is still time to make people for christmas.  Its ridiculous how much time flies.

I like the colors of your tunic. Lovely. And your little dog is so cute. Is he a Frenchie?

Riley is a Pug-Chihuahua mix. Some people call him a Chug. :-)

what does his shirt say?
I'm knitting Jess the ribbed top from Custom Knits (Wendy's book), and I make a mistake every pattern change.....

His shirt says "Guess Who?" :-) I think its cute. I put it on him for a few hours at a time every now and then, I'm hoping he'll get used to it. He has an adorable bomber jacket and a sweater for winter and I want him to like them! He doesn't seem to like to get his butt cold, so maybe once he realizes they keep him warm he will like them better.

GIVEAWAY!!!

As many of you know, I love working with hand dyed yarn.  I especially love Farm Girl Fiber yarn!  Bridgette has an eye for color and has a lot of fun with what she does.  That is why I am so super thrilled that Farm Girl Fiber is sponsoring this giveaway in honor of my opening an etsy shop!   Before the goods, a recap:  I made this Acorn Head hooded cowl for myself on Christmas this year.  I've known pretty much since I bought the yarn exactly what it was going to be, I just had to find time to do it.  This cowl was out of my FGF birthday yarn!  You can't tell in the picture, but it has just this hind of sparkle to it.  Love! I made 2 of these for two different swaps and I really wish I had made and kept one for myself while she still had the yarn!  It was so super soft and super bulky and fantastic!  Sometimes Farm Girl Fiber has very limited lots of things, so if you find something you love, you really need to snatch it up. ...
