I keep putting off updating

Because I want to add pictures.  So there will be a post soon (I swear, really) about knitting in Fort Worth with pretty pictures, for now you just get a random post.

Been working on a lot of projects.  My current carry-around-in-my-purse type project is a super soft cloth for a potter at the farmers market (who happens to be a friend of Ben's) who gave me some adorable little cups one day.  And then I want to whip up another for this farmer (who also happens to be a friend of Ben's) because last week he stuffed a giant bunch of the yummiest smelling dill into my bag while we were over talking to the potter.  They shared their craft with me, so I want to share mine with them.  And hopefully it will make them smile.

The wedding went off without a hitch, for those of you who wondered how my brother's wedding went.  A good weekend, lots of fun.  I am impatiently awaiting the posting of the pictures on the photographer's website.  And from some other people who I know took some throughout the day.

I'm going to go pick blueberries this morning at a local farm before work, so I better take off now.  More later.  Really for reals.

GIVEAWAY!!!

As many of you know, I love working with hand dyed yarn.  I especially love Farm Girl Fiber yarn!  Bridgette has an eye for color and has a lot of fun with what she does.  That is why I am so super thrilled that Farm Girl Fiber is sponsoring this giveaway in honor of my opening an etsy shop!   Before the goods, a recap:  I made this Acorn Head hooded cowl for myself on Christmas this year.  I've known pretty much since I bought the yarn exactly what it was going to be, I just had to find time to do it.  This cowl was out of my FGF birthday yarn!  You can't tell in the picture, but it has just this hind of sparkle to it.  Love! I made 2 of these for two different swaps and I really wish I had made and kept one for myself while she still had the yarn!  It was so super soft and super bulky and fantastic!  Sometimes Farm Girl Fiber has very limited lots of things, so if you find something you love, you really need to snatch it up. ...

Which Would You Pick??

Straw Hat 60's Straw Hat Floppy I think I want one of these, but which one do I want? HELP ME!!!
