What have I been doing while I wasn't blogging?

 Oh gosh, so much!

*Got Maternity pics taken

*Worked some time at the Indie Emporium Pop Up Shop downtown

*Set up the nursery (yay for the crib getting here FINALLY!!!)

*Designed our Christmas cards

*Made a photobook of my maternity photos

*Knit a little hat for Baby E

*Couldn't resist the Black Friday deals on Everything Birth and had waaaay too much fun going through my purchases once they arrived.  Who knew cloth diapering could be so much fun before you even start!

*Did some Christmas shopping

*Spent some time trying to combat feet swelling.  Eventually gave up.  (Wish I had some shoes that fit)
*Drinking hot chocolate now that its cold. (Chocolate is the most caffeine I have these days.)

*Started wrapping presents

*Failed miserably at cleaning the house tonight.

I know there has been a ton more that I have done.  After all, I haven't managed to blog in quite a while.

Why is that?

Well, first it feels like there is not a single day when I don't have something to do either all day or after work.

Second, its just really hard to concentrate right now.  After all, I want to play with baby clothes or read the baby books or prewash clothes and cloth diapers or shop for Christmas presents.

So for the millionth time since I got pregnant, I apologize for my absence!  I would promise to do better, but with only 5 weeks left I really can't make that promise.  There are so many things I want to post about.  Bear with me, I might get to all of it!

Oh! Also, if you haven't had it, you should try Theo hot chocolate. It has turned me into a giant hot chocolate snob. It's ridiculously expensive, but totally worth it. My Whole Foods just started carrying it, but it would even be worth ordering from them online. (I visited the factory in Seattle last year. Super cool folks!)

GIVEAWAY!!!

As many of you know, I love working with hand dyed yarn.  I especially love Farm Girl Fiber yarn!  Bridgette has an eye for color and has a lot of fun with what she does.  That is why I am so super thrilled that Farm Girl Fiber is sponsoring this giveaway in honor of my opening an etsy shop!   Before the goods, a recap:  I made this Acorn Head hooded cowl for myself on Christmas this year.  I've known pretty much since I bought the yarn exactly what it was going to be, I just had to find time to do it.  This cowl was out of my FGF birthday yarn!  You can't tell in the picture, but it has just this hind of sparkle to it.  Love! I made 2 of these for two different swaps and I really wish I had made and kept one for myself while she still had the yarn!  It was so super soft and super bulky and fantastic!  Sometimes Farm Girl Fiber has very limited lots of things, so if you find something you love, you really need to snatch it up. ...

Which Would You Pick??
