And its Knit, Knit, Knit at the Ball Park...

Last night was the home opener for the Tulsa Drillers, so I cut out of knitting group early and Ben and I went over to Drillers stadium to meet up with the folks and catch the game.  Mom and I both took our knitting, happened to both be washcloths.  We got a couple of comments and few looks but no harassment.  Mom told the Drillers recently that they need to get on the Stitch N Pitch bandwagon.  After all, if OKC can have a stitch n pitch night, why can't we?  And speaking of Stitch N Pitch in OKC, can I go to that?  No.  Its the night of my brother's wedding.  Humbug.  So I looked up Stitch N Pitch night for Ben's favorite team.  Can I go to Stitch N Pitch for the Royals?  No.  Its the day after my brother's wedding.  Is there a conspiracy to have all the Stitch N Pitch games at the same time.  I haven't done it yet, but I am going to look up my dad's favorite team next and see if maybe I can go to the Stitch N Pitch night for the St. Louis Cardinals.  If its may 30th or 31st I am totally going to scream.

I suppose I can always make my own stitch n pitch night.  Would anyone be interested in hitting a Drillers game with me?  It could be in the same vein as K1D2.  Let me know if anyone is interested!

GIVEAWAY!!!

As many of you know, I love working with hand dyed yarn.  I especially love Farm Girl Fiber yarn!  Bridgette has an eye for color and has a lot of fun with what she does.  That is why I am so super thrilled that Farm Girl Fiber is sponsoring this giveaway in honor of my opening an etsy shop!   Before the goods, a recap:  I made this Acorn Head hooded cowl for myself on Christmas this year.  I've known pretty much since I bought the yarn exactly what it was going to be, I just had to find time to do it.  This cowl was out of my FGF birthday yarn!  You can't tell in the picture, but it has just this hind of sparkle to it.  Love! I made 2 of these for two different swaps and I really wish I had made and kept one for myself while she still had the yarn!  It was so super soft and super bulky and fantastic!  Sometimes Farm Girl Fiber has very limited lots of things, so if you find something you love, you really need to snatch it up. ...

Which Would You Pick??
