For those who couldn't comment and cause I went shopping

I changed the settings, you no longer have to register in order to comment. I didn't realize that this was a problem until someone mentioned it.

yep, I went to Joann's. I wanted a specific color, but they didn't have it. So I got 4 alternatives! But then Cheryl had the color I wanted when I dropped off food for her (hi, cheryl! I hope you are feeling better!) So now I have the color I wanted AND all the alternatives. :-) Plus I bought more needles cause they are 40% off at Joann's. I needed an extra pair to have enough to do all the KALs and still be able to work on a non-KAL cloth. AND......... I caved and bought another pair of circular size 9's so that I don't necessarily have to finish the baby blanket in order to start the venezia dress.

Ok, there are a couple of things I need to start right now, maybe I can get something done before bed. Maybe a nubbins cloth. :-)

Hey Somer! I felt so special being a part of your blog. :) Jeff loved a meal that was not leftovers! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm having salmon casserole for lunch today. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Last night I found another ball of the olive green color...so, if you need more, let me know!

I will see you tomorrow. Cheryl

GIVEAWAY!!!

As many of you know, I love working with hand dyed yarn.  I especially love Farm Girl Fiber yarn!  Bridgette has an eye for color and has a lot of fun with what she does.  That is why I am so super thrilled that Farm Girl Fiber is sponsoring this giveaway in honor of my opening an etsy shop!   Before the goods, a recap:  I made this Acorn Head hooded cowl for myself on Christmas this year.  I've known pretty much since I bought the yarn exactly what it was going to be, I just had to find time to do it.  This cowl was out of my FGF birthday yarn!  You can't tell in the picture, but it has just this hind of sparkle to it.  Love! I made 2 of these for two different swaps and I really wish I had made and kept one for myself while she still had the yarn!  It was so super soft and super bulky and fantastic!  Sometimes Farm Girl Fiber has very limited lots of things, so if you find something you love, you really need to snatch it up. ...
