This past weekend I had the honor of participating in a local revitalization effort called Polishing the Pearl. A group of make:Tulsa/Indie Emporium vendors came together and put up a pop-up shop for the weekend event. Our space was small but we made it bright, cozy and fun using our displays and wares but also our enjoyment of being together and loving what we do.
Bifftastica, Sunshine & Carousels, Gleeful Peacock, HollyRocks, The Knit Owl, Weather & Noise and I all shared the space. (That would be Erin of SAC being goofy in the pic above and Briana of Bifftastica waving in the pic below) You can find links to all of these great makers on both the make:Tulsa and the Indie Emporium websites. We were really happy to see the number of people who turned out in support of this event and who volunteered to help out. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this area.
Read more about it here on make:Tulsa and here on HollyRocks. There are also tons more pictures here taken by the lovely Briana of Bifftastica.
